Deadly snakes in Australia…

Continuing to read Bill Bryson’s In A Sunburned Country, and he has a section about a few of the deadly snakesd in Australia.  According to Bryson, 14 snakes in Australia are seriously lethal, including the 5-foot long Taipan, whose poison kills a human being so rapidly the victim’s final words are “likely to be, ‘I say, is that a sn–.'”  šŸ™‚  A few small snakes are also highly venomous, including the 8-inch Desert Death Adder and the earthworm-sized Point Darwin death snake…
